Organizational Summary

AIAI was founded as a response to the growing trend of people living with HIV, previously on treatment,
being lost to follow up on antiretroviral therapy in the year 2017.
Originally it was founded as a vehicle to be a direct provider of antiretrovirals through a differentiated
care delivery method. However, the scope of the organization has been refocused to reflect the realities
on ground. Hence, the expanded strategy as a vehicle for research, development and implementation of
programs as well as service provider became necessary to achieve core objectives.
In 2017, the organization received support from the Econet group in terms of training and strategy
development, enabling AIAI, narrow their core objectives to achieve greater impact.
AIAI is a fully registered with the corporate affairs commission of Nigeria as a not for profit organization
(Incorporated trustee) and a service provider, as well as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission
(EFCC) as a corporate citizen of unquestioned integrity.
